Lymphatic Drainage Massage (MLD)

This therapy is also known as Manual Lymphatic Drainage or MLD. It is a gentle, deeply relaxing and rhymthmic massage that helps to reduce water retention, filter excess fluid from the lymph nodes and boost your immune system. The practitioner uses a range of specialized and gently pumping techniques to move the skin in the direction of the lymph flow.

The benefits of Lymphatic Drainage can be considerable and relevant in today's environment.  Stress and deficient immune systems can make people usuceptible to disease and infections.  The lymphatic system plays a vital role in the body by regulating the immune system.  When the lymphatic system is blocked, lymphatic fluid can build up and stagnate; thus causing the system to become toxic.

Lymph drainage is used to treat a wide range of conditions such as:

Toxic build-up of edema and fluid retention (puffy ankles, legs, eyes, bloating) | Constipation and other digestive disorders | Cellulite and excess weight |  Stress, Tension, Anxiety | Glandular fever, ME (Chronic Fatigue)| Hay Fever | Migraine | Sinus | Acne | Roscea and other skin conditions, | Scar tissue  |  Recurring infections (cold, flu, ear, chest)
